The Team Player Archetype
You are the I-S the team player. You are conceptual and highly creative. You love ideas, concepts and experiences. You love working with people. You tend to be un-structured and people oriented.
You communicate by your connections to others and how you feel about things. You dislike conflict. You want everyone to “get along”. You are very social and outgoing.
To make decisions you must associate to your emotions. It’s important to you that everyone is on the “same page”, and there is “buy-in” from the team. You desire to bring people together. You as good in front of a group as you are one-on-one. You don’t like people who appear to be “cold and indifferent”. You are instinctual and feeling.
Your Greatest Gift:
Your greatest gift is your creativity and intuition. You create consensus.
Your Deepest Wound:
Your deepest wound is not being appreciated or not belonging.
To be more productive create structure. Write things down. Be specific and concrete. Stay out of story. You can get lost in story. Put things in writing to turn your ideas into actionable plans.
The keys to growth are learning how to discriminate when trusting people. Create boundaries for yourself. Know that you can absorb the energy of others. Learn to separate your own emotions from the emotions of others. Embrace facts, figures and logic.
Leading a Team:
The challenge to working with your team is there may not be enough structure and milestones. You may use time imprecisely because you like to talk. Your team may drift into story and lose their focus. While you encourage people to be open and trust you, this trust and willing acceptance of people can cause you, at time, to misjudge the abilities of others.
